Terms of Service for Betting Buddha

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Betting Buddha (“Bot”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Discord bot for entering sports betting picks, tracking games, sharing results, and viewing statistics. The Bot is operated from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. By adding the Bot to a Discord server or using its commands, you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy (linked above), and Discord’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

2. Description of the Service

The Bot provides tools for users to log their personal sports betting picks, have games tracked, post or share results within Discord servers, and view individual or group statistics. Important: The Bot does not place bets, facilitate wagers, handle money, or operate as a gambling platform. It is a tracking and statistics tool only.

3. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

● You must be at least 13 years old (Discord minimum) or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (18+ in most U.S. states). For any betting-related activities, you must be 21+ where required (e.g., Pennsylvania sports betting).

● You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service and any real-world betting activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules in your jurisdiction. Sports betting is regulated by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in Pennsylvania and varies elsewhere. We make no representation that use of the Bot or betting is legal in your location.

● You agree not to use the Bot for any illegal purpose or in violation of Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

● All betting decisions, picks, and wagers are your own. The Bot provides no betting advice, predictions, or guarantees.

4. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of your betting picks and data (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process it as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., tracking stats, displaying in channels).

Prohibited conduct includes:

● Submitting false, misleading, or manipulated data.

● Using the Bot to harass, spam, or violate others’ rights.

● Attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the Bot.

● Using the Service for commercial purposes without permission.

● Any activity that violates applicable gambling or other laws.

We reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or ban users/servers for violations. The Bot and all related intellectual property are owned by the Developer.

5. Disclaimers and No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that game tracking or statistics will always be accurate. Game results are based on public data or user input; we are not responsible for inaccuracies.

BETTING AND GAMBLING DISCLAIMER: Use of the Bot does not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice. Any statistics or results are for entertainment and informational purposes only. You may lose money betting. We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from your betting activities or use of the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Bot. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us (if any), whichever is greater.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or violation of these Terms.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Bot at any time, with or without cause, including for violations. You may stop using the Bot by removing it from servers or ceasing commands.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post changes and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We recommend reviewing periodically.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

11. Miscellaneous

● These Terms constitute the entire agreement.

● If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.

● No waiver of rights unless in writing.
